Marko Viita has started at SOP-Metal as a new Project Manager!

Marko Viita has been appointed as our new Project Manager with an area of responsibility of MDY busduct systems sales and project support! 

Marko has extensive experience in electrical project engineering, specifically in busduct systems. Before SOP-Metal, Marko worked for several years at ABB as an MDY busduct systems project engineer.

“This is a very beneficial solution for numerous applications, and I’m convinced it has remarkable domestic and export sales potential. I’m very excited about the opportunity to work with this product again”, Marko states.

In a nutshell, MDY busduct system is a reliable and safe solution for power transmission from the transformer to switchgear and between switchgear sections.

SOP-Metal Oy acquired the product rights for the MDY busduct system from ABB Oy Electrification Service in December 2021.
